there’s this short piano piece that hugh and dave (matthews) played in house 315 “half-wit”. i heard the notes, i understood the elegant contrast and prosody of the music. but for the life of me i couldn’t place what the chords and harmonies were. it was discordant, it was elegant., and i didn’t know what they were. it was so inefffably frustrating.

i hate myself for not understanding it. can someone please tell me those 2 chords are?

eh dont be so sad.. you can always try using audacity to slow it down and then pick the notes one by one

ehhe =p nvm someone did it much quicker! =D thanks ruth!!! played it over and over again after you notated it for me, even in the practice room i couldn’t stop. =) beautiful.. will try and pick them apart and see how it functions, so i can use them too hehe..
